Principal Tutor Mr Anthony Fok

Mr Anthony Fok may seem like an ordinary man, but his commitment to educating the future generation is extraordinary. It is by no coincidence that he decided to be an educator. He has always been fervent about teaching, and believes that the method is just as important as mastery of the subject. He not only holds a degree and postgraduate diploma in education, but is also currently working towards a PhD in the field. This is so that he can continue to upgrade himself as an educator familiar with learners of all learning styles. This allows him to be an effective tutor who can understand his students’ obstacles to excelling and help them overcome them.

Mr Anthony Fok used to teach as an MOE teacher, but decided to take the plunge and set up JC Economics Education Centre. He finds greater gratification in helping students who are in need of academic guidance. Despite the risk of becoming a full time-tutor, he has never looked back and is proud of his one-man show at JC Economics Education Centre. He enjoys the autonomy over the teaching methods and learning materials, taking care to ensure that they are of high quality and are beneficial to every individual student that goes through his doors.

Mr Anthony Fok also contributes actively to the guidebook industry, having published more than 15 guidebooks, including the Ten Years Series. This has allowed even more students to benefit from his materials.

The media has recognized Mr Anthony Fok’s achievements, and he has had the honour of being featured on several television shows, radio stations and in the press. Notably, he was cited as the most sought after Economics tutor in Singapore, being named as a “super tutor”.

Mr Anthony Fok however finds the greatest satisfaction in that fact that he is moulding young minds and changing lives. He considers himself as a friend to his students, and inspires them to be better individuals beyond academic excellence.
